Jennifer conducted her third jobs listening tour to learn ways to build on the more than 27,000 energy-related jobs in the Charlotte area.
While Jennifer’s opponent, Robert Pittenger, has conducted most of his congressional campaign trying to divide families on social issues, Jennifer is spending time meeting with business owners, listening to their concerns and creating a plan to get North Carolina back to work.
Jennifer visited Celgard, a global leader in the development and production of specialty membranes used in lithium ion batteries for electric drive vehicles. She also toured the Siemens Energy gas turbine manufacturing plant. Siemens Energy recently invested $350 million in the new plant, creating nearly 700 new jobs.
Jennifer has a proven record of creating jobs, having supported efforts to bring nearly 5,000 new jobs to the Charlotte area.
