Jennifer discussed the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses with BUDGET BUSINESS SOLUTIONS’ co-owner Carolina Aponte. Aponte advised Jennifer about small and medium sized businesses and their compliance issues at the state and federal level from business filings to taxes. She stressed the importance of streamlining government, its procedures and regulations, to take the pressure off of small and medium sized businesses. Aponte said she is very optimistic about the health of the economy in the region and sees growth in both start-ups and existing companies.
“We must build on that positive growth by making it easier for businesses to succeed and create more opportunities for North Carolina families,” said Roberts.
